Meshack Ravuku
Meshack has extensive experience as a facilitator, trainer, negotiator and mediator. He was employed by the Chemical Workers Industrial Union, a Cosatu affiliate, for 13 years.
He was thereafter employed as a full time Senior Commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) for four years and vacated his full-time position to pursue a career as an Independent Labour Consultant since 2001.
He is a former Director of Tokiso Dispute Settlement (Pty) Ltd and also runs his own Labour Relations Consultancy, Ravuku Strategic Dispute Resolution (PTY) LTD. He is on the panel of Mediate Works and Tokiso Dispute Settlement.

Meshack was trained by the Independent Mediation Service of South Africa (IMSSA) and spent some time at ACAS in London whilst on a scholarship at Ruskin College, Oxford, where he completed a course in Comparative Industrial Relations. He also received extensive training whilst still at the Union and at the CCMA on various labour and dispute resolution issues.
He is an Internationally accredited Mediator through the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) which is based in the United Kingdom and the International Mediation Institute (IMI), the Netherlands.
Meshack specialises in facilitation and mediation, and in particular mediation of complex wage negotiations and facilitation of Relationship By Objective (RBO) processes.
He is former Chairperson of the Public Service Coordinating Bargaining Council (PSCBC). He is also former Bargaining Forum Chairperson of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), Sports Council of South Africa (SCSA) and the Bargaining Forum of the South African Nursing Council (SANC). He serves as an Independent Trustee Samancor Ndizani Worker’s Trust.
He is Chairperson of the Bargaining Forums at Road Accident Fund (RAF), Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and National Home Builders Registration Council. (NHBRC). He is also involved in Community Conflict Resolution.
